Roosters Club
Roosters’ wraparound care provides high‑quality breakfast and after‑school provision for pupils at Gamlingay Village Primary School. Places are offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Breakfast club
Monday–Friday: 7:30am – 8:45am Cost: £6.50 per session
Breakfast includes a buffet selection of toast, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juice, water and milk.
After school club
Monday–Thursday: 3:15pm – 6:00pm Friday: Closed (No afternoon session on the last day of term)
Session options:
- 3:15pm – 5:00pm (includes a healthy snack) – £10
- 3:15pm – 6:00pm (includes a healthy snack and light tea) – £15
- Child‑led free play
- Arts and crafts
- A morning movie (U or carefully selected PG)
- Outdoor play on the small field (weather permitting)

Children attending after school enrichment clubs will be safely escorted to Roosters once their club finishes, and will be signed in on arrival.
All children must be registered via the ParentPay booking form. Bookings and payment must be completed in advance of your child attending.
- Children cannot attend if payment has not been made.
- If payment is missing, your child will be turned away at the gate or you will be contacted to collect them from the school office.
- We strongly recommend booking a month in advance to secure your preferred sessions.
- Ad hoc sessions may be available at the discretion of the Setting Manager, Miss Amie Bell, and must be booked before attendance.
- All sessions are non‑refundable.
Roosters’ follows the school’s Behaviour Policy. We reserve the right to withdraw access to sessions if behaviour impacts the safety or wellbeing of the setting.

The safe arrival and collection of children is a priority.
- Registers are kept on site and updated for every arrival and departure.
- Regular headcounts take place throughout each session.
- Opens at 7:30am.
- Entry is via the gate on the left-hand side of the school car park.
- Parents should buzz the doorbell for entry.
- Children are escorted to their classrooms at 8:45am.
Children can only be collected by:
- An adult named on the registration form, or
- Someone authorised in advance via the school office.
A password will be requested if staff are unsure. If staff have concerns, they will contact the main parent/carer for confirmation.
Parents must notify the office if they expect to be late.
A charge of £10 per 5 minutes will be applied for late collection. Repeated late collection after 5:00pm or 6:00pm may result in access to the provision being withdrawn.
Roosters’ wraparound care follows the school’s Safeguarding Policy.
- Gates remain locked during sessions.
- Children cannot leave unless accompanied by a member of staff.
- No child can attend without completed registration forms, ensuring we are aware of medical needs and can safeguard them in an emergency.
